We landed in Frankfurt in the morning and were met by the people who had gone early to Germany.  We met our guide, Simon, hopped on the bus and were off! We stopped for a snack at – McDonalds!  We went to Eisenach, Germany where we saw the house where Johan Sebastian Bach was born and the house of Martin Luther (Luther Haus).  It was an amazing museum where we saw the influence he had on the church and on all of us as he worked to translate the Bible into German.  We then went to Wartburg Castle.  It was here that Luther was given shelter from those who wanted to take him into custody.  It was an incredible place in history! We made it to our hotel and are ready for a good nights rest. – Wendy Lambert
