Stephanie Greenwald led our class this morning and began by drawing a picture of a tree. She then read Jeremiah 17:7-8 which talks about trusting in the Lord and uses an analogy of a tree planted by a river which provides everything the tree needs the same as God provides everything we need. The unseen roots are greater than what is seen of the tree. The branches reach for the sun and point to the sun. The tree’s branches are movable and flexible. All of these things give us examples of how our relationship with God should be. What a great lesson! We appreciate Stephanie taking time to be with us.
