Morgan Jones stopped by our class to introduce herself and to let us know that she’ll also be assuming the duties of Sunday School Coordinator as well as continuing with Small Groups Ministry. Margaret read an article from the latest Skyline newsletter about Dr. Duane Moore and his years of volunteering his services at the Eye Clinic at Skyline. Duane promotes all of the Skyline programs at every opportunity. We also discussed our upcoming monthly dinner. We will meet on Tuesday, July 25th at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Jim Litton. Margaret Whittemore continued leading us in our study on forgiveness. She asked the group about several things and did we consider them a sin. She also relayed a funny store about a Christian and all the bumper stickers on their car and their actions while driving that didn’t reflect the message on the bumper stickers at all. We watched Adam Hamilton’s video where he continued his analogy of adding rocks to a backpack to represent forgiveness in relationships. Do we let it go or do we put it in the backpack and carry it around? A great analogy.
