Bible Point: God protects us
Key Verse: God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Just as God protected Moses, God will also protect us (Exodus 1:1–2:10). Strengthen your family’s faith learning and growth at home with this easy idea:
- Discuss times when your family has felt God’s protection or ways God has used your family to provide protection for others (for example, a car breaking down on a trip far from home).
- Then read Psalm 46:1 and Romans 8:38-39 and talk about what these verses mean to you regarding God’s protection.
PRAYER
Thank you, God, for always being with us and protecting us. Thank you most of all that nothing we go through can ever separate us from your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
