In a week where we have been hearing so many tragic stories coming from the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey, I have been intentional about trying to find the stories of all the good that people are doing and how people are coming together. There have been countless stories about every day heroes stepping up and doing what they could to help those in need. One particular story caught my eye on the news about “Mattress Mack”. This is just the story of one man who used the resources and gifts he had to make a difference for those in need. I hope after watching this story you’ll be inspired to find ways to use the resources and gifts you have to make a difference for others as well. Whether it’s through prayer, giving financially, giving blood, or volunteering to assist in cleanup and rebuilding efforts when the time comes, there will be needs for years to come as thousands of people recover from the damage done.
