El Sistema Oklahoma Concert

We are thrilled to announce a milestone event that marks a decade of musical excellence and community transformation. El Sistema Oklahoma invites you to be part of our enchanting end-of-the-year celebration concert, commemorating 10 years of dedication to providing a nurturing environment through music for youth in Oklahoma City. The concert is on Wednesday, May 8 at 6:45 p.m. at Rose State College Hudiburg Center (6000 S Prosper Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73110).

El Sistema Oklahoma is more than just an after-school music program. It’s a beacon of hope, empowering students from grades 3-12 by offering them a chance to learn, play, and thrive through music. The program is completely FREE for the students, and it provides them with instruments, classes in composition, fundamentals, leadership, ensemble rehearsals, and even summer camp opportunities.

This celebratory concert will be nothing short of spectacular, featuring all 200 of our talented students performing across 5 different ensembles. The highlight of the evening will be the debut performance of our newly composed El Sistema theme song “Metamorphosis”, a collaborative masterpiece crafted by the students and teachers. This finale will have all 200 students perform together in perfect harmony, symbolizing the transformative power of music and community.

The concert is free of charge, making it the perfect opportunity for you, your friends, and your family to experience El Sistema’s magic.
