In the Bible, nighttime is often used as a metaphor for a person’s lack of understanding or fear. In each of our spiritual journeys, we will encounter times of daylight when things are easily seen, and we feel the warmth of our relationship to Christ. There will also be times when we experience the night, when matters are harder to discern, and fear of the unknown can set in. But even at night, we can see the Light of the World. In fact, it is far easier to see the stars against a night sky. When we find ourselves in a time of night, we can look up to see the Light through which Christ makes Himself known.

The season of Lent is the 40 days (excluding Sundays) leading up to Easter Sunday. Throughout the Lenten season there are many ways for your family to connect with St. Luke’s and grow in faith, on campus, online, or on television.

This Lenten season, grow in your faith with the help of a daily reminder with a Daily Devotional Booklet.  You can download the booklet below or request a printed devotional to be mailed to you by filling out the form online.

Stations of the Cross
Reflect on the solemn message of Good Friday by praying through the Stations of the Cross. This meaningful practice offers a powerful opportunity to enrich your prayer life and meditate deeply on the sacrifice Jesus made for the world on that first Good Friday.

At the Downtown Campus, the Stations will be open for prayer in the Sanctuary from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on March 30 – April 1 and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 2.

At the Edmond Campus, you can participate along the walking trail Monday – Friday, March 30 – April 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Holy Week Prayer Labyrinths  |  March 30 – April 3
Christians have walked prayer labyrinths since the Middle Ages as a way to draw near to God. The labyrinth offers a symbolic and prayerful journey, often referred to as a body prayer or moving meditation.
March 30 – April 1, from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and April 2 and 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
At the Edmond Campus, a labyrinth will be available in Room 131.
At the Downtown Campus, a labyrinth will be available in the Youth Room.

Maundy Thursday Services - April 2

Maundy Thursday is the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the events leading up to and immediately following the crucifixion of Jesus.
