The season of Lent is the 40 days (excluding Sundays) leading up to Easter Sunday. Throughout the Lenten season there are many ways for your family to connect with St. Luke’s and grow in faith, on campus, online, or on television.

Easter Offering Each year St. Luke’s collects an Easter Offering to bless lives in our community and around the world. 100% of this offering goes to helping our neighbors in need. When you give, you make the world a better place by Sharing God’s Love and Bringing Hope to the World. You can give by mailing a check to the business office, text STL Easter to 73256, or click the link below to give now online.
Easter Lily Order The St. Luke’s worship areas will be adorned with beautiful flowers on Easter Sunday, April 4. You can purchase an Easter Lily for $20 in honor of or in memory of a loved one or friend. Your name and the name of your honoree will be a part of the Online Service via a special pre-worship video as well as listed in the bulletin. To have your name listed fill out an online order form. The deadline is March 28.
Palm Sunday – March 28 Children are welcome to help celebrate Palm Sunday during worship by waving palm branches at the beginning of each service. If your children are planning on participating, please have them checked in to the Children’s Area at least 10 minutes prior to the start of worship. Maundy Thursday Communion – April 1 Maundy Thursday marks the day that Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper with His disciples. You’re invited to commemorate the Last Supper at the Downtown Campus or at the Edmond Campus. The Downtown Campus will hold two 30 minutes services where Holy Communion will be served at 9 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. The Edmond Campus invites you to receive Communion and spend time in prayer in the Courtyard (weather permitting), 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. and 5 – 6:30 p.m. All are invited as we celebrate our Lord’s table on Maundy Thursday. Communion will be served in pre-packaged bread and juice containers.
Stations of the Cross – April 2 The 14 stations of the cross will be marked along the walking trails at the Edmond Campus on Good Friday. Pick up a booklet at the Welcome Center during business hours to guide you as you travel to each station. The walking trail begins near the south entrance of the church. You can also participate online by following the Stations of the Cross that was produced last year.
Good Friday Tenebrae Services – April 2 Good Friday reaffirms our focus on Jesus Christ through His crucifixion, and prepares us for His resurrection on Easter Sunday morning. You’re invited to experience a meaningful time with your family of faith at St. Luke’s Good Friday Tenebrae Services on April 2. The Downtown Campus service is at 7:30 p.m. Edmond Campus Service is at 6:30 p.m. The Good Friday Services will be livestreamed from both campuses. There will be childcare available for infants – 5th grade.
Easter Egg Hunts – April 3 The day before Easter the Edmond Campus is hosting an All Church Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m., 12 noon, and 2 p.m. to allow for social distancing. Each hunt will consist of multiple age sections and will have an equal number of Easter Eggs for the children to find. All of the hunts will take place at the Edmond Campus in the field behind the church. Come enjoy a time of egg hunting, inflatables, and a moon bounce! And don’t forget to check out our outdoor playground! Small treats and water will be provided!

Enjoy Easter worship on television at 10:30 a.m. on KOCO Channel 5. Typically, the sermon is one week behind, but on Easter Sunday, the sermon will be the same sermon as is preached on campus at St. Luke’s. Enjoy music, a message of hope, and inspirational extras on the hourlong program on KOCO Channel 5!
