Disciple Bible Study is designed to make disciples by studying God’s Word. These small group Bible studies offers an opportunity for both learning and lasting friendships.

Men View Ministry Page
About this ministry

Men face unique challenges – juggling roles at home, at our jobs, and in the community. For men who are striving to balance these roles, grow in their faith, and actively seek God’s will, you are invited to engage in our weekly faith group, serve in a mission capacity, and mentor others. The Men’s Ministry is a great way to become more engaged in the church.

Seniors View Ministry Page
About this ministry

Seniors, get your week off to a great start with a Monday morning Bible Study. The Senior Bible Study is comprised of mostly retired adults and meets throughout the year (with breaks over holidays). We go through various video-based studies from presenters like Max Lucado, Adam Hamilton, and Magrey deVega. This is a good and faithful small group for discussion, care, and prayer. We are open to others joining us anytime on Monday mornings from 9:30-10:30. We meet in the Parlor and also have a Zoom option.

Women have many roles in life; St. Luke’s provides opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth to help balance all areas of life. Women are invited to join in fellowship and spiritual growth through biblically based classes and topical discussions.

About this ministry

The bell choir is for high school students and adults college-age and older. The group rings in the 8:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. traditional worship services once a month. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:45 – 8:45 p.m.

Cantate View Ministry Page
About this ministry

Cantate is a small ensemble for adults college-age and older. The group sings for the 8:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. traditional services once a month and in special concerts. Rehearsals are every other Wednesday from 5:45 – 6:30 p.m. and one Saturday a month from 10 a.m. to noon.

Chancel Choir View Ministry Page
About this ministry

Chancel Choir is for high school students and adults college-age and older. The choir sings every Sunday at the 10:50 a.m. traditional service and at the Annual Conference and special concerts. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m.

The new “St. Luke’s Academy” is offering music lessons and classes for adults and children (ages 6 and up). They can enroll with a qualified private teacher for weekly lessons or group classes.

BOLD (Bridges of Latin Dance) is a fellowship of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church members who share the joy of the authentic Latin social dance arts, music, and culture. BOLD meets at the St. Luke’s Downtown Campus for dance classes, arts and cultural education, and language lessons in practical conversational Spanish and other languages of Latin America and the Caribbean.

This group does not have regular meetings, but works from the participants’ homes to complete and finalize certain particular projects to meet needs within the St. Luke’s local community.  These projects are announced to the congregation at large throughout the year, and it is open for church-wide participation, including men and women.
