Alaska Day 6 – St. Luke's

Day 6
Today was our day to tour with a trip to Talkeetna, which is located at the base of Mt. Delani. Unfortunately due to forest fires north of the mountain we were not able to see it but that did not keep us from enjoying our day. We shopped, ate and wrapped up the day by attending a cookout consisting of 3 types of marinated moose, fresh salmon and halibut only to be topped off by roasted s’mores hosted by our friends Terry and Cindy that we met last year. We rode the ATV, did some target practice, and ate again! We had the pleasure of also meeting the new pastors of FUMC in Willow.
