Bible Point – Tell everyone about Jesus
Key Verse: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20
God wants us to tell everyone about Jesus (Acts 10:1-44). Strengthen your family’s faith learning and growth at home with this easy idea:
1. Talk about a time you befriended someone you thought you wouldn’t like.
2. Encourage your kids to think about someone they can pay more attention to or reach out to.
3. Then talk about who we’re called to love and share the good news about Jesus with.
4. Discuss ways your family can reach out to those in your neighborhood who seem different from you.
PRAYER
God, thank You for sending Jesus to save us from our sin. Help us to reach outside our comfort zones to make friends with people around us and share the good news of Jesus with everyone we meet. In Jesus’ name, amen.
