Bible Point: God uses his power to help us.
Key Verse: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10
God used his power to rescue the Israelites from Egypt and that God uses his power to help us, too (Exodus 7:8–10:29). Strengthen your family’s faith learning and growth at home with this easy idea:
- Talk about a time you sensed the power of God at work. Maybe it was something as simple as seeing God’s power in a thunderstorm or something as big as God performing a medical miracle in the life of a family member.
- Encourage your kids to think of their own examples of the power of God at work in their lives.
- Discuss ways your family can be more open to seeing God’s power at work in everyday life.
PRAYER
God, You’re mighty and powerful. Thank you for using Your power in our lives to help us.
Give us eyes to see You at work every day in our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
