Bible Point: God wants us to hope in Him.
Key Verse: But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. – Isaiah 40:31
We can hope in God no matter what the circumstances might look like (Exodus 5:1–6:1). Strengthen your family’s faith learning and growth at home with this easy idea:
1. When have you hoped in God the most? Maybe you had to trust God to heal a sick family member, or maybe you had to hope that God would provide while you were out of work.
2. Share what happened as a result of putting your hope in God.
3. Ask your kids to share ways they can put their hope in God in the coming week.
PRAYER
God, help us put our hope in You. Teach us to trust that You’re in control and that You have a good plan for our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
