Bible Point – Encourage each other to believe in Jesus
Key Verse: But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. – Hebrews 3:13
We’re called to encourage each other daily in our faith (Acts 11:19-26). Strengthen your family’s faith learning and growth at home with this easy idea:
- Share a time that each of your children did something to encourage you. Maybe one of them gave you a hug when you needed it most or told you how much he or she loves you.
- As a family, talk about simple ways people offer encouragement—such as writing a friendly note, giving hugs during a difficult time, being a good listener, or offering to help out.
- Talk about why it’s important to encourage each other and other Christians in our faith. Commit to one way you can encourage people this week.
PRAYER
God, thank you for the people around us who see us and love us enough to encourage us when we’re struggling. Show us how to reach out and encourage other Christians to continue to seek and follow You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
