Sunday morning, we gathered in the hotel lobby and prepared for our final leg of the journey. Thankfully, we had no delays and were on our flight to Roatan. We had originally planned to prepare and serve a meal for the Flowers Bay community and church members but since we were not able to be here our hosts, Carlos and Chris, made sure to have the meal to the church where a few of the ladies from the church kindly prepared the meal. Although we not able to be there in person, we were there in spirit and we flew over the church and were able to see all the cars in the church parking lot and from the conversations, there was a great turn out. After finally arriving at our home-away-from-home, we quickly unpacked and acclimated, packed back into the van and headed to the traditional Sunday night dinner at Bananarama. We had a fun night of hermit crab racing to raise money for formula for babies with AIDS here on the island.
