Dallas 2017

Today we had a very easy drives in vans to Dallas, Texas with lots of laughs and anticipation and excitement for our trip ahead of us! We arrived at C2K which is the place we are staying around 4:30 and unloaded all our stuff and made our beds. C2K means Connect 2 the kingdom so they are a local place for mission groups to stay to help further to kingdom of God. We then had a yummy dinner at QDoba where the staff was so welcoming even with our larg group and we left them a gratitude card from St. Lukes all signed by the kids. We then came back to C2K and met up with the other group that is staying with us, Edmond First United Methodist and was given a tour of the church across the street that C2K is connected to and it’s a very old church and it was so cool for the kids to look at! We had a short devotional and then it was off to beds and showers so we can rest up before our week of serving! More pictures of the kids to come tomorrow 🙂
