Travel day – day one started with a 4 a.m. airport arrival time and a prank call from a team member informing me that he was stuck in Guthrie – he was not, but he managed to initiate a little bit of panic. Other than that, our flights were all on time and all 10 of us made to Roatán without issue. Once in Roatán we go directly to the local grocery store and load up on snacks and food (mainly avocados for our annual guacamole making session) for the rest of the week. Once back at the house we unpacked and settled in. That evening we watched the first of many beautiful sunsets, ate dinner together and did a few get to know you activities before going to bed and eagerly anticipating the days to come.
