The final full day of the middle school trip was a fantastic day. The children had a “fun day.” The best way to describe the day in one word would be community. The middle school children spent the day at Silver Dollar City. The rides were fantastic for the ones that seek out adventures and fast pace roller coasters. Then other groups whom did not seek out roller coasters played games with their peers, and rode “kiddy rides.” Each leader had a group, and each group would do competitions with silly pictures see below. Silver Dollar City was a great foundation for many memories.
That night the youth went to Lambert’s for dinner. Lambert is another great place to enjoy community with brothers and sisters. Lambert’s is known for throwing rolls at their customers, and giving an abundant amount of food. The youth had a great meal that would rival any feast a king would have had in the middle ages.
In conclusion, the day was spent building marvelous friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. The youth had an adventurous day, and they were worn out. These memories will not be forgotten.
