Bible Point – Pray for God’s direction
Key Verse: If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. – James 1:5
We can seek God’s direction for our lives (Genesis 24). Strengthen your family’s faith learning and growth at home with this easy idea:
- Talk about a time you had difficulty knowing where God was leading you. For example, maybe you were unsure about taking advantage of a new job opportunity or you weren’t sure if you were supposed to move your family to another part of the country.
- Share how you discovered which direction God was leading you. What was the result?
- Then talk about concerns that each family member has and would like God’s direction for right now.
PRAYER
God, without Your direction we wouldn’t know where to turn. Teach us to rely on You in every situation. Please speak to each of us about the situations we’re facing right now. In Jesus’ name, amen.
