Looking for something to do with your kids this summer that will be inexpensive, but the rewards will be huge? Try this easy idea.
Buy some pool noodles—they’re everywhere right now and very cheap! Chop a pool noodle in to 5”-6” strips, using a serrated knife and cutting board. Choose a few scriptures you’d like your kids to memorize and write one word on each piece of pool noodle. Mix them up and let your kids practice lining them up in the correct order. In no time at all, they’ll have the scripture memorized, then they can learn another one.
Here are some suggestions:
Psalm 139:14- I praise You because You made me in an amazing and wonderful way.
Luke 6:31-Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Isaiah 43:5-Do not be afraid, for I am with you.
John 3:16-God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him would not die, but would live forever.
Romans 8:28-We know that in all things God works for good with those who love Him, those whom He has called according to His purpose.
