Millard and Linda Fuller were, by all accounts, a successful couple. Their early success in life led them to be millionaires before they were 30 years old. Their hard work took a toll on their lives and their marriage.
Thankfully they were unwilling to let their marriage fail. With the same determination they had to build a successful business they set out to use their wealth to help others. They were changing their game.
Their intentional kindness led them to help others. The started by partnering with a small ministry in Georgia they was beginning to work on houses. In just a few years this partnership grew into what is now knows as Habitat for Humanity. The Fuller’s early work and contributions helped to develop a worldwide ministry that has built over 1 million homes.
Millard and Linda Fuller were not skilled builders. Neither had ever really worked with a hammer or screwdriver. They were, however willing to listen to God. During tremendous pain in their personal life, they changed their focus and began working to bless others lives. Because they changed their game over 5 million people have been blessed with housing.
God wants to use us to make a difference in the lives of others. When we listen to God, especially in the difficult times of our lives, God will lead us. His grace will help us to become game changers.
