The day started at 8:00 with Will’s famous scrambled eggs, toast and Alaska homemade Strawberry Preserves After our devotion time led by Martie it was time to work! Our agenda for the day was to paint the Narthex. That was finished by noon and we began taping and painting in the Sanctuary after enjoying our lunch prepared by Mona Mae.
Our work ended at 4:00 and by 5:00 we were enjoying our scenic drive to the top of Hatchers Pass (3,886 feet above sea level). We ended the day with a long awaited mouth watering dinner of fresh fried Halibut at “The Last Frontier” in Wasilla.
