Today was bittersweet as we bid farewell to our wonderful host families and headed to Anchorage to spend our final day before catching our 9:00pm flight. We visited the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. It is a non profit organization dedicated to conservation, education, and quality animal are. They’re also dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife. Our next stop was Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, AK. It is nestled in a lush valley surrounded by mountain peaks, hanging glaciers and spectacular ocean views. We rode the gondola to the top for lunch and to be in awe of God’s creations and majesty.
