CommUNITY Christmas Dinner – Canvassing

You can help canvas the neighborhood around the Asbury Campus and spread Christmas cheer! We’ll be inviting residents to the free CommUNITY Christmas Dinner on December 3. The Canvassing will be November 22 from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Let’s meet at Asbury and work in teams to put door hangers on neighborhood houses. Youth Fall Retreat

Youth Fall Retreat

Meet new people and connect with God at the Youth Fall Retreat – an incredible weekend with youth group friends to get away and grow in faith. It’s November 22-24 at Oakridge Camp near Anadarko. There will be worship and small groups that will develop an important theme to help you grow in your faith. There’s also lots of fun activities like outdoor laser tag, go carts, 9square, and more! The cost is $120 and sign-up is by November 10. Register today at stlukesokc.org. Pay online or in person. We will leave the church at 6 p.m. on November 22 and return at 2:30 p.m. on November 24. Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner

St. Luke’s is helping put on the Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner. We are asking for volunteers to provide 200 baked pies, as well as volunteers to help serve at the Thanksgiving Dinner and/or help with cleanup. Serving dinner will be from 12-3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Cleanup is from 2-6 p.m. Pies need to be turned in at the Edmond Campus by Sunday, November 24. Sign up to bring a pie and bring it to the church by Sunday, November 24.

Thanksgiving Potluck

Join your family of faith as we celebrate Thanksgiving together on Sunday, November 24, in the gym following worship. We have so much to be thankful for this year! The church will be providing the turkey, and everyone is invited to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

CommUNITY Christmas Dinner

You can help us serve the community around the Asbury Campus this holiday season. On December 3 we will be hosting a Christmas Dinner at the Asbury Campus. This free meal is open to families of Emerson South High School, Lee Elementary, Academia OKC, and our neighbors around the Asbury Campus. Volunteers are needed to help setup (4:30 – 5:30), serve (5:30 – 7:30) ,and clean up (7:30 – 8:30). You can serve for one shift or all three. commUNITY Table Christmas Dinner

You’re invited to celebrate Christmas with St. Luke’s Asbury’s newest mission family! On Tuesday, December 3, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Asbury will host a FREE neighborhood Christmas Dinner for area residents, church members, Emerson South students, and the Academia families. The students and their families will enjoy great food, prizes, music, and lots of holiday cheer! No need to register. Just show up! Esther Women: Guest Speaker Wintley Phipps

The Esther Women are inviting everyone to hear a special guest speaker on December 4 at 11:30 a.m. in the Downtown Campus Sanctuary. This event is free. Wintley Phipps is a pastor, world-renowned vocalist, motivational speaker, and education activist. He is the founder of the US Dream Academy, a national after-school program that aims to break the cycle of intergenerational incarceration. Wintley has sung for six U.S. Presidents, served as a senior pastor to several churches in D.C., and currently serves as Senior Pastor of the Palm Bay, FL Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Children’s Christmas Musical

Get your camera ready for one of the cutest concerts of the year – the Children’s Christmas Musical and Party! “Jingle Bell Beach” and the choir of 3 and 4 year-olds is set for Sunday, December 8, at 3 p.m. in the Christian Life Center (CLC) at the Downtown Campus.
