🟦 Blue Square Campaign

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, we are honored to participate in Stand Up Sunday, which began nearly two years ago when Dr. Bob Long heard an interview with Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots and founder of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS). In the interview, Kraft shared the significance of the Blue Square pin. Despite being only 2.4% of the population, Jewish people experience 69% of all religious hate crimes. Kraft emphasized that antisemitism is a warning sign, as a rise in hatred against Jewish people often signals a rise in hatred against all minority groups and religions.

Inspired by this interview, Dr. Long requested his first Blue Square pin and led the inaugural Stand Up Sunday at St. Luke’s on August 18, 2024. Since that day, we have distributed over 4,000 Blue Square pins and are committed to doing even more in the coming year. On Sunday, September 7, wear your Blue Square pin, or pick up your first one, as we stand together against hate on Stand Up Sunday.

Stand Up Sunday, powered by FCAS and the Appeal of Conscience Foundation, unites houses of worship across the nation to take a stand against Jewish hate and all forms of hate. This day sends a clear and united message: hate has no home here. Every person, regardless of faith or background, deserves dignity and respect. Now, more than ever, we must raise our voices and join this critical movement.

How to share 🟦 on social media

The Foundation To Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) launched a national campaign to mobilize all Americans, and especially non-Jews, to #StandUpToJewishHate by using the blue square emoji 🟦 as a unifying symbol of support.

Hate in any form, and the silence that enables it, will tear apart our society, moving our country backwards rather than towards a stronger future. Stand up to Jewish hate and all hate.

St. Luke’s stands up to all hate and with the Jewish community and are honored to distribute Blue Pins from the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) and the 🟦 campaign,  #StandUpToJewishHate.

Share your support on social media by taking a selfie with your Blue Pin and tag #🟦,  #StandUpToAllHate, and #stlukesokc.

Wearing a Blue Pin is a simple yet powerful way to show support and stand against antisemitism.

You can pick up a Blue Pin at any campus, and if you worship online or cannot make it to one of the campuses, you can click this link to have one mailed to you from FCAS.
