28 children helped kick off VBS 2017 at the Christ UMC today and it was a huge success. Belinda Ruffel and Judi Whitton are sharing with the children about how they are trying to use blueprints to build a surprise for the children.
Clarence Preston, Lynn Knight and Chuck Jackson showed more of their skills by working beside volunteer Bernard Sappa to build steps up to the parsonage from the church. It has been 30 years since this was done!
Victoria Jackson learns how to treat flooring after carpet has been removed by Pastor Connie, Pastor Dan and volunteer Sherry Fetzner.
The team also prepared rooms for painting tomorrow afternoon by taping, removing blinds, etc.
We stopped work early today, 4:00 and met at the home of Bernard and Michelle Sappa for a feast of pulled pork, shish kabobs and pineapple chicken.
