Make your own musical at Poteet Theatre this summer! Enroll your child for a musical workshop for curious first-timers and experienced theater performers. Week 1 is June 3 – 7 (for ages 6 – 12) and week 2 is June 10 – 14 (for ages 9 – 18). The camp will be from 10 a.m .- 4 p.m. – Monday – Fridayand costs $200 for the week ($175 if signing up multiple children). Each day of the Make Your Own Musical Camp will include prayer, vocal warm-ups, focus training, and fun games! Everyone will be working with the Camp Director, Haley Jane Pierce, who recently directed the musical Annie at the Poteet Theatre. Campers will get to perform their show at the end of the week for their family and friends.Details & Registration

Our mission focus is Revive 225, a service ministry of First UMC in Baton Rouge. We will be driving and the trip will include travel, food, lodging, mission opportunities, and a day of fun in New Orleans and a swamp tour. They have a combined service of more than 50 years at St. Luke’s. Now they’re teaming up to put on an incredible concert! Volunteers are needed to help deliver 875 Pantry Pack Boxes to Meals on Wheels of Oklahoma City recipients. These boxes are provided by the Regional Food Bank with over 30 pounds of emergency shelf-stable food including canned vegetables, soups and meats, cereal, juices and pasta. Volunteers will start at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday – March 25 and go continue until they are all delivered. Volunteers will not get out of their vehicle, but will drive through the St. Luke’s south parking lot (NW 14th and Harvey) where the boxes will be placed into your vehicle and you will be given an address to deliver the box to. All safety measure and CDC guidelines will be practiced – please make sure you are symptom free before volunteering. There is no need to sign-up, simply show up to help.
Your child can still be a part of the fun tradition of waving palm branches on Palm Sunday, April 5! The St. Luke’s Children’s Ministry will be working during their virtual events each morning at 10 a.m. to encourage children to make and wave a homemade palm branch. Parents please take time to record your child waving a palm branch and upload it to our website. We will combine all the videos to be part of the opening hymn of Palm Sunday’s Online Worship Service.

Your family is invited to be a part of the Good Friday Stations of the Cross drive through experience on Friday, April 10, from 3 – 6:30 p.m. at the Downtown Campus. The south parking lot of the church (NW14th and Harvey) will have the stations each car will drive through.
