Building Better Moms

This new group strives to build a community of moms who learn, grow, and support one another; to meet you right where you are as a mom, a woman, a friend, and child of God. Learn how to be better equipped as a parent through speakers and discussion. This is a new group forming at the Downtown Campus that will meet once a month on Sunday afternoons from 12:30 – 2 p.m. The group meets in teh Fellowship Hall at the Downtown Campus with lunch and childcare available. • Sunday, March 26 – Heather Tiger will be coming to teach us about the devotional practice of scripture journaling. She will give us tools and space connect creatively with the word of God and discover how this practice can help us encounter God’s word in new ways.  Heather is a boy mom, pastor’s wife, creative, teacher and friend who wants to help others to discover and cultivate their God-given spark and embrace exactly who they are through creative mindfulness.
• Sunday, April 23 – We will learn about one of the many non-profit organizations in our community that is making a difference for others – especially women and children.  Join us for a time to both learn and to serve with our community of moms together.
