This new group strives to build a community of moms who learn, grow, and support one another; to meet you right where you are as a mom, a woman, a friend, and child of God. Learn how to be better equipped as a parent through speakers and discussion. This is a new group forming at the Downtown Campus that will meet once a month on Sunday afternoons from 12:30 – 2 p.m. The kick off meeting is January 29 in the Fellowship Hall with lunch and childcare will be provided. This time will often feature topics and special speakers for moms to learn from and discuss with other moms at St. Luke’s. Sign up for one or more dates using the form below.

  • Sunday, January 29 – Rev. Dr. Robyn Goggs will be coming to talk about making sense of our worth and what boundaries we have in our lives that keep us grounded.  Robyn is a United Methodist minister and a Licensed Professional Counselor who has a private practice in Oklahoma City. She has always loved people and is so grateful the way 20 years of serving the church, translated into serving people in the mental health field. Her calling is to help individuals become the best versions of themselves.
  • Sunday, February 26 – Tisha Tate-Garcia will be coming to lead us in a time of yoga and meditation.  Tisha is a speaker and teacher who creates space for people to slow down, let go, and “come home” to themselves through breath, movement, and inspiration. She brings her inclusive philosophy of “yoga for every body”.
  • Sunday, March 26 – Heather Tiger will be coming to teach us about the devotional practice of scripture journaling. She will give us tools and space connect creatively with the word of God and discover how this practice can help us encounter God’s word in new ways.  Heather is a boy mom, pastor’s wife, creative, teacher and friend who wants to help others to discover and cultivate their God-given spark and embrace exactly who they are through creative mindfulness.
  • Sunday, April 23 – We will learn about one of the many non-profit organizations in our community that is making a difference for others – especially women and children.  Join us for a time to both learn and to serve with our community of moms together.
