Arshay Cooper will be our special Wednesday Night Alive speaker on March 29 at 6:30 p.m. He will be sharing his inspirational story: growing up in Chicago and eventually becoming captain of the country’s first all-black high school rowing team. His award-winning memoir chronicles his high school rowing career, “A Most Beautiful Thing,” which was recently adapted into a film by the same name. Arshay will be at the Downtown campus and the presentation will also be streamed to the Edmond Campus. A Most Beautiful Thing can be bought anywhere books are sold. The film is available for streaming on Amazon Prime, Peacock, and Xfinity Comcast.
