- Youth Camps, Mission Trips & Retreats
Our Youth have several wonderful opportunities to experience their faith among friends through camps, missions trips, and retreats throughout the year.
Spring Break Mission Trips 2019:
- Los Angeles, CA (high school students): March 17-23, 2018 – $875
- Branson, MO (middle school students): March 17-20, 2018 – $250
High School students can join in on a great trip to Los Angeles on March 17-23. The cost of this trip is $875 and students can earn up to $350 in Mission Bucks. Our mission focus will be through Next Step Ministries and will focus on homeless and relational ministry in LA. We will be flying and the trip will include travel, food, lodging, mission opportunities, and 2 days at Disneyland Park! A $200 deposit is due by December 9 and another $200 deposit by Jan. 13, with the remaining balance due in March.
Middle School students can join in on a great trip to Branson on March 17-20! The cost of the trip is $250 and will include all food, travel, lodging, service projects, and fun events. The focus of the trip is doing service projects in the area, but the group will also attend the show Samson at Sight and Sound Theater and go to Silver Dollar City! Students can also earn up to $100 in Mission Bucks towards the cost of this trip. A $100 deposit will be due on Jan. 27 and the remaining balance due in March.

- Youth Sunday School
Downtown Sunday Morning
Disciple Bible Study – 8:15 a.m.
High School Youth are invited to be part of Disciple Bible Study a 24-week study that will look at both the Old and the New Testament while helping each participant apply God’s Word to their daily lives. This class starts in September in the Youth Room (Room 217).
Youth Classes – 9:40 a.m.
Sunday School gathering for all students 6th – 12th grade begins at 9:40 a.m., then we break into middle school and high school classes. This is an important learning time where we teach on topics and Scripture that are meaningful and relevant to helping students grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible to share God’s love in their lives.
Confirmation classes will begin in February on Sunday mornings from 9:40 – 11:45 a.m.
Youth Worship – 10:50 a.m.
Youth are encouraged to attend worship together as a youth group or with their family during the 10:50 worship service. They can also serve in Children’s Ministry or Hospitality.
Edmond Sunday Morning
Youth Worship – 9:15 or 11 a.m.
Youth Sunday School at the Edmond campus begins at 9:15 and 11 a.m. for all 6th-12th grade students. It is a gathering time for students to connect with each other, hear God’s word and play games. This is an important learning time where we teach on topics and Scripture that are meaningful and relevant to helping students grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible to share God’s love in their lives. Students are encouraged to attend worship during the worship service opposite of their chosen Sunday School hour.
Confirmation classes for Edmond Campus youth will be held after church on Sundays from 12 – 2 p.m.
- Youth Fellowship
Downtown Youth Fellowship
We have many additional youth events including fun outings, big events, service projects, games, and fellowship time. The focus for these events is to connect and deepen relationships with each other, with the church, and with God.
During the school year, we meet regularly after church from 12:00-2:00 p.m. for lunch, games, and devotion. About once a month this time includes a service project or fun outing.
- Youth Wednesday Nights
Downtown Wednesday Nights
Dinner is served from 5:15-6:15pm in the CLC. Worship & LYFE groups meet Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30 p.m. during our Wednesday Night Alive sessions in the fall and spring. This time begins with a modern worship service followed by small groups divided by age and gender. There are other youth Bible studies and activities offered on many Wednesday nights that this regular programming is not occurring. For more information about Thrive Downtown, contact Amy Givens.
Edmond Wednesday Nights
Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. Youth Bible Study is from 6:30-7:30pm for middle school and high school groups and is a time to grow together, digging deeper into the word of God and how it applies to your life. Edmond Youth Bible Study will continue on Wednesday nights when WNA is not ins session from 6:00-7:30pm. For more information about Thrive Edmond, contact Josh Attaway.
