Guest Singers at St. Luke's

Downtown Campus:

Alex Irwin

Alex will be a freshman at the University of Oklahoma this fall studying music composition. He has grown up surrounded by music. He started performing in musicals at the Sooner Theatre at the age of five, and has recently held several leading parts in shows there. He started playing violin when he was four, and went on to become the concert master of his high school orchestra. He has been singing for just as long, and became the tenor section leader of his high school choir, winning an award for Outstanding Soloist at a choir competition in Disney World. During his senior year in high school, he was elected President of orchestra and Vice President of choir and started a fine arts council at the school uniting all the fine arts organizations to support recognition and collaboration for the fine arts. He loves writing music on his free time, and has had one of his works performed by his high school choir at their end of the year choir concert. He hopes to one day write music for the film industry. He would like to thank Mervin for this opportunity, for all of his teachers for shaping his life and inspiring him on a daily basis, and for his family who has given him nothing but endless love and support.
