Luther Trent began class this morning with mentioning a book by John Maxwell called Running with the Giants that talks about our lives being like races. Races that are not a sprint but more like a marathon with a crowd of witnesses faithful to God cheering us on. Luther also referenced Hebrews chapter 11 and 12 and encouraged everyone to take time to read the two chapters.

Last week we learned more about Noah so Luther continued with that. What could we learn from Noah on our life’s marathon? One person can make a difference. You can make a difference for your family, God’s creation, future generations and for God, regardless of your age. Noah might also tell us to not be afraid of standing out from the crowd or to do something for the first time.

Luther closed our time with prayer. Thanks Luther for being willing to teach.

Because so many wouldn’t be able to attend, our monthly class dinner for June 27th has been cancelled.
