“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” –Acts 20:35

Hunter and Lords is a tailor that produces some of the finest men’s suits in the United States and around the world. A suit from this custom clothier can cost upwards of $10,000.00. A complete outfit is custom designed. The jacket, the shirt, the socks and shoes are all tailored for each individual customer.

It is a very small part of any society that can afford such a luxury. That is why it was a marvelous gift when the staff at Hunter and Lords let it be known that they would be selecting several service men to receive custom suites.

The reason that Hunter and Lords is extending this offer is because they know that it is often difficult for people who have served for many years in the armed services to enter a new stage of life. As one veteran, who received a new suit stated, “It is a lot easier to join the military than to leave the military.” The tailors at Hunter and Lords simply want to offer these soldiers a boost in their confidence and in their opportunity to get a good job.

The tailors at this clothing company saw a need and used their gifts and their business to bless lives. When I read this wonderful story, I was reminded that each of us have abilities and gifts to make a difference. It begins with seeing the need that is in front of us and giving our time and talents to help make a difference. Who can you bless today? What needs are in front of you? When we are willing to give of ourselves, we can change lives.
