Care Ministry

St. Luke's Care Ministry seeks to extend the love of Christ to those whose celebrations, sadness and transition impact their lives. In this ministry of prayer, we pray for ourselves, for others, for the community and for the world. We include care for those limited to their homes by age or circumstances through visitation and correspondence. We include the ministry of listening and caring in a one-on-one relationship, through trained Stephen Ministers. We include the service of Holy Communion as we share the Lord's Table, serving one another in spirit of humility and generosity.

Holy Listening for Children and Youth

Free spiritual guidance and pastoral care is available for children and teens. These one-on-one sessions help them to think about how God is with them in difficult situations and in the celebrations of life.

Intercessory Prayer Team

The Intercessory Prayer team dedicates time everyday to pray for the needs of the church family. The prayer team brings the joys and concerns of this church, and those for whom we care, to God.

Sacred Table Ministry

Prayers are offered for members of the military in a one-on-one partnership. Names of those in military service from our congregation, and those connected with it, are paired with individuals who dedicate time to pray for them, their safety in service and their families.

Spiritual Direction for Adults

Spend time with a trained spiritual director discovering your life as a child of God, discerning your life issues, dealing with the challenges of faith and learning to pray.

St. Luke’s @ Home

St. Luke’s @ Home is a ministry to our members who are confined to home, assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Ministry volunteers make visits once each month and/or send notes and cards to congregation members at home.

Weddings at St. Luke’s

St. Luke's is honored to offer the Wedding Ministry for your very special occasion of holy marriage. Weddings are available for both our members and guests to the congregation. The wedding ceremony is a worship service where the bride and groom pledge themselves to one another in the presence of God and begin their marriage with Christ as the foundation.
