Tickets

Cheaper by the Dozen: Individual tickets are now on sale for our second show of the 2012 season, Cheaper by the Dozen.  The show opens Friday, April 20 and runs through Sunday, May 6. All seats are reserved and tickets $20 each. Shows are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM. To purchase tickets on-line, please use the link below. For box office assistance, including group rates or special needs seating, please leave a message at 609-1023, option 3. If there are seats available, students may purchase discounted tickets for $15 on the day of the show when the box office opens. (45 minutes prior to show time.) Please be prepared to show a valid school ID.

Seating Policy: The house will open for seating approximately 30 minutes before show time. If a show is sold out and walk-up customers are waiting for a seat, the box office may release unclaimed seats for resale ten minutes prior to show time. Once the production begins, it is very distracting for someone to enter to be seated, and many times we use the entire room for a production, so you may be in the way. So, for the safety of the performers and the enjoyment of all patrons, NO ONE will be seated once a show begins.

Exchange and Return Policy: tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. If you purchase tickets that you find you are unable to use, you may contact the box office to release those seats for resale in exchange for a tax-deductible donation letter.

At the box office
Purchase tickets at the box office with cash, check, or credit card. The box office downstairs next to the theatre will be open for walk-up sales about 45 minutes before each show.

Special Services:  Wheelchair access is available and can be arranged through the box office by phoning 609-1023.  To avoid the stairs, patrons may use an elevator located near the Christian Life Center to enter the theatre through the basement of the church.  Front row seats are accessible to patrons who wish to transfer from a wheelchair into a regular seat or for patrons who cannot use stairs.  By using a lift located in the back of the theatre, patrons who wish to remain in a wheelchair can access seating on the back row, center aisle, (F1 and companion seat F2).  Front row seating may be booked on-line or through the box office.  Left or Right F1 and companion seat F2 can only be booked by calling the box office.  Will-call is in the northeast corner of the Narthex on the same level as the elevators.  Please be sure to pick up your ticket(s) before going to the elevator.

Latecomers:  The house will open for seating approximately 30 minutes before show time.  Once the productions begins, it is very distracting for someone to enter to be seated, and many times we use the entire room for a production, so patrons could be in the way.  For the safety of the performers and the enjoyment of all patrons, remember, NO ONE will be seated once a show begins.   **If a show is sold out and walk-up customers are waiting for a seat, the box office may release unclaimed seats for resale ten minutes before show time.

Beepers and Cell Phones:  Patrons with cellular telephones, alarm watches, and/or electronic paging systems should turn the devices off prior to entering the theatre.

Cameras and Recording Devices:  The use of photographic or sound recording equipment during any performance without written permission of the management is prohibited by law.  Such recording devices will not be allowed into the theatre, and the Poteet Theatre reserves the right to remove photographic or recording devices from the theatre if in use during a performance.

Smoking:  Smoking is prohibited in the church or theatre.

Food and Drink:  A concession booth is open before the show and at intermission during most Poteet Theatre performances.  Please remember that food and beverages (with the exception of water) are not permitted inside of the theatre.
