2012 is going to be a year to focus on gratitude. Studies have shown that people who live with a sense of thanksgiving report that they are far happier than those who do not. As a family of faith, we know that we have been blessed and that it is important to give thanks to God. It is also integral to our well-being to express our gratitude to one another. It is good to share our feelings of thanksgiving to those people who have made a difference in our lives. That is why we are going to focus on the act of giving thanks.
This is more than a warm feeling of thankfulness, it is intentionally expressing thanks to those around us. In 2012 we are encouraging people to write a thank you note each day to someone. This idea comes from the book "365 Thank Yous: The Year a Simple Act of Daily Gratitude Changed My Life."
Join the St. Luke's family of Faith in celebrating a "Year of Gratitude."
