A great way for kids to grow in their faith and serve the church is to become an “Acolyte” – an honorable title for someone who assists in the worship services. St. Luke’s Edmond is inviting students in the 3rd and 4th grade to become Acolytes through training on March 26 and April 2. Students must attend both sessions. On both days, we will meet in Room 132 – right after church. The kids will be served lunch, then go through training (lighting of candles during worship service, etc.). Parents can pick up their children in the south parking lot at 2 p.m. There will be an Acolyte Consecration Service on April 9, Palm Sunday, during the 11 a.m. service for those who complete the training and are ready to serve as Acolytes. There is no cost for this program. Sign up by March 19. You can also email Taylor Easttom at email@example.com, or call (405) 285-2313.
