Youth Camps, Mission Trips & Retreats
Overview

Our Youth have several wonderful opportunities to experience their faith among friends through camps, missions trips, and retreats throughout the year.

Upcoming Dates:

Summer 2018:

  • Disciple Camp (middle school students): June 1-5, 2018 – $250
  • Youth Force Ardmore (mission camp): June 17-22, 2018 – $250
  • Dayspring Camp (high school students): July 5-9, 2018 – $250

Summer Pass 2018 – $350 (up to $100 in savings)
Access to all youth activities this summer for one great price!

  • 1 week of camp (Disciple, Youth Force, or Dayspring)
  • Launch (kick-off Sunday for all grades, May 20)
  • Lunch Bunch (June 10, July 1, August 19)
  • Day at the Zoo (July 15)
  • Youth Week activities (days of service projects and fun, July 26-29)
  • Discovery Weekend (2 night event at church, August 10-12)
  • St. Yootz Day (August 18)

Summer passes are only available through June 1.  $350 must be paid in full by this time.  Any deposits for camp placed before June 1 may be applied to Summer Pass total.

Youth Sunday School
Overview

Downtown Sunday Morning

Youth Worship – 9:40 a.m.
Sunday School gathering for all students 6th – 12th grade begins at 9:40 a.m., then we break into middle school and high school classes. This is an important learning time where we teach on topics and Scripture that are meaningful and relevant to helping students grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible to share God’s love in their lives.

Confirmation classes will begin in February on Sunday mornings from 9:40 – 11:45 a.m.

Youth Worship – 10:50 a.m.
Youth are encouraged to attend worship together as a youth group or with their family during the 10:50 worship service. They can also serve in Children’s Ministry or Hospitality.

Edmond Sunday Morning

Youth Worship – 9:15 or 11 a.m.
Youth Sunday School at the Edmond campus begins at 9:15 and 11 a.m. for all 6th-12th grade students. It is a gathering time for students to connect with each other, hear God’s word and play games. This is an important learning time where we teach on topics and Scripture that are meaningful and relevant to helping students grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible to share God’s love in their lives. Students are encouraged to attend worship during the worship service opposite of their chosen Sunday School hour.

Confirmation classes for Edmond Campus youth will be held after church on Sundays from 12 – 2 p.m.

Youth Fellowship
Overview

Downtown Youth Fellowship

We have many additional youth events including fun outings, big events, service projects, games, and fellowship time. The focus for these events is to connect and deepen relationships with each other, with the church, and with God.

During the school year, we meet regularly after church from 12:00-2:00 p.m. for lunch, games, and devotion. About once a month this time includes a service project or fun outing.

Youth Wednesday Nights
Overview

Downtown Wednesday Nights

Dinner is served from 5:15-6:15pm in the CLC. Worship & LYFE groups meet Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30 p.m. during our Wednesday Night Alive sessions in the fall and spring. This time begins with a modern worship service followed by small groups divided by age and gender. 
There are other youth Bible studies and activities offered on many Wednesday nights that this regular programming is not occurring. For more information about Thrive Downtown, contact Amy Givens.

Edmond Wednesday Nights

Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. Youth Bible Study is from 6:30-7:30pm for middle school and high school groups and is a time to grow together, digging deeper into the word of God and how it applies to your life. Edmond Youth Bible Study will continue on Wednesday nights when WNA is not ins session from 6:00-7:30pm.  For more information about Thrive Edmond, contact Josh Attaway.
